Now everyone, we again want to emphasize that the contest is being closely monitored by the DTI to ensure that we all have a fun and clean contest. In fact, a DTI representative was around during the tallying of votes. The winning entry was the one who racked up the most number of valid votes, as determined by the DTI as well as the contest's mechanics.
What makes for a valid vote, you might ask? Well, the DTI people themselves stated that a valid vote should come from a valid e-mail address-meaning, it shouldn't be a clone of another email.
For instance, while the email address juandelacruz@email.com is valid, any accompanying votes registered as juandelacruz02@email.com, juandelacruz03@email.com, juandelacruz04@email.com, etc. are not valid email addresses since they are clones of the original, according to the good people of the DTI.
We at Crocs, along with the DTI, want to ensure that all entries have a fair chance of winning, through proper and valid email votes. Again, congratulations to the winner, and keep on joining Crazy for Crocs!
